JimTCars is the independent car consultancy of Jim T, a car consultant based in Vancouver, BC. After years on dealership floors, Jim started this practice to do car buying differently. Direct, no games, and built around what the buyer needs instead of whatever is on the sales target sheet that week.

How this is different from a regular dealership

A typical Vancouver dealership has a finance manager whose job is to maximize back-end profit, a sales floor with monthly quotas, and a fixed lot of vehicles you're being pushed toward whether they fit you or not. Jim searches dealers, auctions and private sellers across Canada, so the right vehicle is found for the buyer, not the other way around.

What I help with

Finding used and new vehicles (the Car Finding Service), in-person pre-purchase inspection in any province, financing review (rates, terms, what to push back on), and delivery anywhere in Canada. Whether you're buying your first car, replacing a daily driver, or looking for something specific that's not on a public lot, the process is the same: tell me what you need, I do the work, you get a fair deal with no surprises at signing.

Licensing and trust

Jim is a car consultant, not a dealer. All transactions are processed through licensed dealer partners with full bill of sale documentation, ICBC transfers, and Carfax history reports.
