Jim T. Vancouver Auto is the independent car consultancy of Vadym (Jim) Troian, a licensed BC salesperson based in Vancouver, BC. After years on dealership floors, Jim started this practice to do car buying differently — direct, transparent, and oriented around what the buyer actually needs rather than what's on a sales target sheet that week.

How this is different from a regular dealership

A typical Vancouver dealership has a finance manager whose job is to maximize back-end profit, a sales floor with monthly quotas, and a fixed lot of vehicles you're being pushed toward whether they fit you or not. Jim works from dealer networks and auction access across BC and Alberta — meaning the right vehicle is sourced for the buyer, not the other way around.

What I help with

Sourcing used and new vehicles, trade-in valuations, financing review (rates, terms, what to push back on), inspection and pre-purchase due diligence, and out-of-province delivery across BC and the Lower Mainland. Whether you're buying your first car, replacing a daily driver, or looking for something specific that's not on a public lot, the process is the same: tell me what you need, I do the work, you get a fair deal with no surprises at signing.

Licensing and trust

Jim is a licensed BC Salesperson registered with the Vehicle Sales Authority of British Columbia. All transactions are processed through licensed dealer partners with full bill of sale documentation, ICBC transfers, and Carfax history reports.
