Used SUV found and inspected for a buyer
The short version

For a flat $790, I run the whole search for you: sourcing across Canada, a shortlist, an in-person inspection, negotiation, paperwork and delivery arrangements. You decide at every step and you never buy a car nobody has looked at.

What do I do for you?

  • Brief: a short call or message about budget, years, must-haves, and how you'll use the car day to day.
  • Search: dealers, private sellers and my dealer partners across Canada, not one lot's inventory.
  • Shortlist: the few cars worth your time, each with its price compared to the national market. Dealer listings usually come with a free Carfax; extra Carfax reports on private-sale cars are at cost.
  • Inspection and Carfax: the car you pick is checked in person by my inspection team, and its Carfax with a lien check is included, before you commit. That alone is the $490 inspection.
  • Negotiation: I negotiate using what the inspection found and what similar cars really sell for.
  • Paperwork and delivery: bill of sale, lien check, and transport to your door anywhere in Canada.

How does it work?

  1. Tell me what you need with the form below or on WhatsApp.
  2. I send a shortlist with history and a straight note on each car, including the ones I'd skip.
  3. You pick one, and my team inspects it in person.
  4. I negotiate and you approve the final price.
  5. We close and deliver. Paperwork done, car on its way to you.

Every car on the shortlist gets its history checked. The one you pick gets inspected in person.

How am I paid?

$790 CAD flat from you, the same whether the car costs $12,000 or $60,000, so there's no reason for me to push you up. Transport to your door is quoted separately at cost, because it depends on the distance.

When the car you choose comes from one of my dealer partners, the dealer may also pay me a referral fee. I tell you before you commit, every time. If a car is wrong for you, I say so, wherever it comes from.

What can I find for you?

Daily drivers, family SUVs, trucks, EVs, and harder finds like a specific trim, colour or engine. A recent client wanted a Honda Accord with the V6, which means shopping 2013 to 2017 only, and that is exactly the kind of search this service is for.

Not sure what to look for yet? Start with my used car price guides: prices by year, what to check, and my verdict for each model, for example the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V or Ford F-150.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the car finding service cost?

A flat $790 CAD for the search, shortlist, in-person inspection, negotiation and paperwork, including the Carfax for the car you choose. Transport to your door is quoted separately at cost.

Do you only find cars in Vancouver?

No. I search across Canada and my inspection team covers every province, so the car can come from wherever the best one is.

Do I have to buy the car you find?

No. You approve every step: the shortlist, the car to inspect, and the final price. If nothing fits, we keep looking or you walk away.

Do you get paid by dealers?

When a car comes from one of my dealer partners, the dealer may pay me a referral fee. I always tell you before you commit.

Can you find a specific trim, engine or colour?

Yes. Specific finds are where the service saves the most time, for example a 2013 to 2017 Honda Accord V6 or a particular hybrid trim.
