2019 to 2020: good value
The fourth generation is a comfortable two-row midsize SUV with a 2.4L or a 2.0L turbo. It's well equipped for the money.
2021 to 2023: the sweet spot
The refresh brought a new 2.5L, an optional 2.5L turbo, a hybrid and a plug-in hybrid, plus a better cabin. This is the one to buy.
2024 and newer: all new
The boxy fifth generation has three rows and much more space, and the price jump shows it.
